It includes an online course and highly interactive one-day virtual workshop run by a TCIA Qualified Trainer to develop your learning on client communication, building and maintaining crew professionalism, motivating and training crew members and managing conflicts involving both clients and crew members. The program combines online learning with discussions demonstrations, feedback and opportunities to collaborate and engage with peers.

Earning your Crew Leader Qualification is a structured and interactive journey designed to build leadership skills and industry expertise. To receive your TCA Qualified Crew Leader Qualification Certificate, you must complete each step in the following order:
- Enroll in the Program
Begin with our interactive online course, completed alongside peers in the industry. The course includes videos, narration, and 20 sample forms covering six key areas:- Leadership
- Communication
- Quality Control & Professionalism
- Developing Crew Skills & Knowledge
- Performance Management
- Safety & Production
- Complete Required Activities
Engage with your learning group through the following:- Seven required discussion posts
- Two video demonstrations (graded by a TCIA Qualified Trainer)
- Prepare for the Workshop
Earn your “Workshop Ready” badge by completing required pre-work. An optional pre-test is available and may be taken as many times as desired. - Participate in the Virtual Workshop –
Join the full-day virtual Adobe Connect workshop, where you will:- Collaborate in breakout sessions
- Engage in group discussions and activities
- Apply adult learning principles to real-world scenarios
Note: The workshop link will be provided once Steps 1, 2, and 3 are complete.
- Pass the Proctored Final Exam
Within five days of the workshop, complete the online final exam. A passing score of 80% or higher is required to earn your qualification.
Important: All steps must be completed in the order listed above. Successful completion of the program and final exam earns you the TCA Qualified Crew Leader Qualification Certificate, which does not expire.
