The Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) is the only national trade association for tree care companies in the U.S. TCIA has more than 1,400 tree care company members and nearly 400 affiliated corporate members, encompassing tens of thousands of tree care professionals. Established in 1938 as the National Arborist Association, TCIA supports the tree care industry through advocacy, education, and standards development.

TCIA supports tree care companies throughout the life of your business by providing tools you can use every day to improve your safety, sustainability, and chances for success. TCIA not only develops safety and education programs, standards of tree care practice, and management information for tree and landscape firms around the world, we also provide continuing education, training, conferences, and publications to promote the safe and appropriate practice of tree care. With more than 3,000 Certified Treecare Safety Professionals (CTSPs) nationwide, TCIA leads the way in safety education and innovation.

  • Advancing Professionalism and Recognition: TCIA champions ethical business practices and professionalism in arboriculture. In an evolving industry, TCIA helps companies navigate challenges and establish credibility with consumers.
