TCIA appoints TCIA-approved Auditor/Accreditation Consultants to businesses enrolled in the accreditation process. These Auditor/Accreditation Consultants are available to help your company implement the accreditation program. If an auditor consults with your company, they will not be able to audit it and another TCIA-approved Auditor/Accreditation Consultant will conduct the on-site inspection and complete the audit. Hans Tielmann is a NJ licensed tree expert, certified crane operator, and accomplished trainer with a degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and years of hands-on experience in the tree care and crane service industries. After beginning his career in his family’s tree service business, he went on to found three companies—Bad Media, LLC, Noble Oak Safety & Training, and NJ Crane Expert—where he currently serves as lead instructor training programs. Hans holds numerous industry credentials, including NCCER Craft Instructor, Practical Examiner, Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP), and Petzl PPE Competency Instructor, and is a TCIA Accredited Trainer and ISA Member. Known for his expertise in high-risk tree removal and safety strategy, he combines modern equipment with thoughtful instruction to train the next generation of arborists. A recipient of the TCIA Professional Communications Award, Hans is also a prominent voice on social media, where he shares engaging, safety-focused content to educate both professionals and the public. Randall J. McDonald PA-01 (Saxonburg, PA)

Randall has been involved in the tree care industry for over 32 years. Following graduation from Paul Smith’s College of Forestry, he learned the art and science of tree care working with The Davey Tree Expert Co. in positions from tree climber to district manager. After working with The Davey Tree Expert Co., Mr. McDonald helped pioneer the introduction and implementation of biostimulants in the tree care industry. As senior vice president for Plant Health Care Inc., he developed new markets and helped research mycorrhizal fungi – an environmentally-friendly method of maintaining and improving tree health – with the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, England, and lectured with the U.S.G.A. Rebecca Johnson

Rebecca Johnson, TX-02 (Austin, TX)

Rebecca Johnson, a dedicated arborist, is passionate about helping trees and educating those who care for them. As a private consulting arborist, she focuses on outreach and education, teaching homeowners proper tree care techniques. Since 2017, Rebecca has organized the Austin Certified Arborist exam prep course, successfully educating over 300 arborists and aspiring professionals. Recognized with the 2020 ISA President’s Award for her contributions to Women in Arboriculture, she holds multiple certifications, including Certified Arborist, Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP), and TCIA Qualified Trainer. Additionally, she is qualified in ISA Tree Risk Assessment and Texas ISA Oak Wilt and Wildfire Risk Reduction.
