The companies listed below do not have the right to use the TCIA trademark and are not affiliated in any way with our association.

TCIA accreditation is a “seal of approval” that helps homeowners find tree care companies that have been inspected and accredited based on adherence to industry standards for quality and safety; maintenance of trained, professional staff; and dedication to ethics and quality in business practices.

Credible companies have to work hard to be accredited by TCIA and because of this, less reputable companies may fraudulently claim accreditation.

Contact the Accreditation department at (800) 733-2622 to check for TCIA accreditation.

• Wallingford Tree Service, Inc. of Wallingford, CT
  This company claims to be TCIA accredited, a member of TCIA and have CTSP on staff. This company is no longer accredited, a member nor have CTSP.
• JCS Tree Services of Oakland County, MI
  This company claims to be TCIA accredited by having TCIA ACR logo on their website. This company is not, nor has ever been, accredited by TCIA.
• Tidd Tree LLC, Olathe, KS
  This company claims to be TCIA accredited and a member on their website. This company is not, nor has ever been, accredited by TCIA. They are also not a current TCIA member.
• Branch Tree Service, Inc., Warren, MI
  This company claims to be TCIA accredited and have CTSP on staff. This company is no longer accredited nor have CTSP.
• Nick’s Tree Service, Inc., Broken Arrow, OK
  This company claims to be TCIA accredited and have CTSP on staff. This company is no longer accredited nor have CTSP.
• TreeHugger Complete Tree Care, Maxwell, IA
  This company claims to be TCIA accredited, a member of TCIA and have CTSP on staff. This company is no longer accredited, a member nor have CTSP.
• Arborworks, LLC, Downers Grove, IL
  This company claims to be TCIA accredited. This company is no longer accredited.
• SLM Services, Inc. dba Northeast Horticultural Services, Milford, CT
  This company claims to be TCIA accredited. This company is no longer accredited.
• Limbwalker Tree Service, Inc., Louisville, KY
  This company claims to be TCIA accredited and have CTSP on staff. This company is no longer accredited nor have CTSP.

TCIA also has a due diligence to post a public notice when a company’s Accreditation is involuntarily terminated for a period of one year.
